Last updated July 2026. This policy explains how photos are transmitted and processed when you use IDPhotoFree.
IDPhotoFree does not write uploaded photos to its own disks, databases, or persistent object storage. Photos are held in memory only while a request is being processed.
For person detection and background removal, photos are sent over HTTPS to third-party image processors. The service currently may use Baidu AI Cloud and, when fallback processing is enabled, Zheyings or Shiliu AI. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
We cannot promise immediate deletion or absence of backups within third-party systems. We do not intentionally use photos for advertising profiles or sell photos. Do not use the upload feature if you do not agree to third-party processing.
Users should avoid uploading sensitive photos on shared devices, keep operating systems updated, and remove local temporary files after final submission.
If your process requires multiple retries, keep only the final approved output and delete discarded versions to reduce accidental exposure risk.
